This old church in Chloride Arizona is where some of my relatives were married in the late 1800s

In april we visited my great grandfathers grave in Kingman Arizona. He is credited for being the first to discover silver in a sandstone formation. His discovery led to a booming mining town in southern Utah called Silver Reef in the late 1800's. I have a silver dollar that was minted from one of the mines there. The historic Wells Fargo building has been restored and it tells about the history of the town and a picture of him there. There is a house He used to live in that has been restored also. It is in Harrisburg Utah just south of Leeds Utah.

Our recent trip to St. George led us to the in and out burger several times. Only my brother Jim and myself had the courage to try the double double. That is the only to go now. They are the best thing on the menu.

Church clothes

On Halloween DeAnna and Myself dressed up as shown above and visited Bishop Draper at the Mill Creek Ward Chapel. There are no words to describe the look on his face as we walked into his office unannounced. He was so shocked it took him several minutes to even recognize us.

Our son John and grandson Kraymer visited us from Huntington Saturday. Kevin came over from Sandy, so we decided to get a fat boy and shake at Abs for lunch.
Ab started his drive in just down the street from our old home in Hunter, Utah. He began serving steak dinners from the back room of his house at 3500 south 5400 west to support his son on an LDS mission 2 evenings a week which later turned to a fast food . He has now expanded to several locations and discontinued using his home.
I like the fat boy with onions but not grilled onions.

High speed photography

These cameras were designed by Vance Parker and built by myself and crew at Sid Nebekers Cordin Co. The picture is the last frame of a hand grenade exploding. We took it at Ireco explosive Co. by Utah Lake.
